April 1 from 7:00 to 8:30 Northwestern CT Authors Book Discussion
Series with Patricia D’Ascoli and Jessica Treat at Northwestern
Connecticut Community College in Winsted.  Reading and
discussing Black & White by Dani Shapiro.  Copies are available in
the library.

April 2 Jessica Bram will be at Barnes & Noble in Westport reading
and signing copies of her book Happily Every After Divorce.

April 4 from 1:00 to 4:00 Polly Brody will be reading at the Yale
Bookstore, 77 Broadway in New Haven as part of a group reading
featuring those published in the 2008 issue of CADUCEUS.

April 6 at 6:30 Patricia D’Ascoli will lead a discussion of Mill on the
Floss as part of “Victorian Secrets” a Connecticut Humanities
Council book discussion series at Goshen Library

April 8 at 7:00 Elizabeth Thomas is the featured reader in the Library
Poetry Series, East Hampton Public Library.

April 8 at 6:30 "Creative Sustenance" - Davyne Verstandig, Director
of Litchfield County Writers Project, will read her work and discuss
her life and art at the UConn Torrington Campus. Suggested
donation $5 - all money goes to local food pantries and soup

April 16 at 7:00 Dana Sonnenschein will be the special guest for
National Poetry Month at the Wintonbury Poetry Series & Open Mike,
Wintonbury Branch Library, 1015 Blue Hills Avenue, Bloomfield.  
Sonnenschein is the author of three full-length collections of poetry
and a professor of literature and writing at Southern Connecticut
State University.

April 18 & 19 Murder 203, CT's First Mystery Festival organized by

April 19 Janet Krauss will be reading at the Darien Library for The
Poet's Voice.

April 20 at 6:30 Patricia D’Ascoli will lead a discussion of Tess of the

April 22 at 6:00 Carole Shmurak will lead CT Sisters in Crime series:
discussion of Restless Waters, New Haven Public Library
