Lou Barrett:  Author of poetry collections "Homefronts" and "Connecting Flights."  She enjoyed a long career as
teacher of literature. She was nominated for the 2006 Pushcart Prize, awarded CT Poetry Society's Winchell Award

Joan Kunsch teaches classical ballet at CT's Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts, where she is associate artistic
director.  Her choreography comprises over 60 works for concert stage, TV, sacred space and outdoor sites.  Her first
book, Playing With Gravity, was published by Antrim House in 2007. Her poetry and articles have been published in the
U.S., Norway, England and India.  She translates contemporary Norwegian poetry, presents public readings in
Norwegian and English, and performs "Flute Meets Poem" in a duo with her sister, Kathi Byam.

Howard Layton: With publication of Love and Sand this summer, Howard Layton, WWII flyer (RAF),  chartered
electrical engineer (UK), Fellow of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, commercial airplane pilot with instrument
rating, founder of his own hi-tech manufacturing company (Interlab, Inc. Danbury) and former professional stage and
film actor, presents the  second episode in his planned trilogy.  His first episode entitled The Thirteen Club was
published in 2001.
